Lost and found

And Lucifer looked at the fallen angel and spoke. What have you leant from all of this? What purpose has this fulfilled? True, you can now lie, cheat and steal. Your pride and arrogance has blinded you to what you have become. Your greed has led you onto paths you were never meant to travel and your jealousy has tripped you up. Even if there was a way back, you are unlikely to take it, reason and logic have been lost.

The fallen angel answered. The only purpose to be found is to prove that I am alive, words crystallise thoughts. And the lesson that I have learnt is that Eve is responsible for her actions.

Lucifer held out his hand to her.

Seven

There was once seven of them, in whose hands it was given to control. Uriel was to watch the worlds, Raphael had to look after humanity, Michael was in charge of chaos, Gabriel the cherubin and seraphim, Saraquael watched the spirits and Raguel was to be the Lord's vengeance. The greatest and most beautiful was Lucifer. Of the light and music, he had greatest power and authority. And the greatest pride. Which was his downfall.

Answers

A question was asked and I attempted answer, but, as with a lot of things lately, it went astray. Will it work here? Maybe, I will see.

{I am who I am. Trying to decide just how far I have fallen. Hence taking the advice of another in that confession is good for the soul. Yet another mistake made. We have met, or else how would I know of the existence of the green world. Limbo or Earth? }

Ah surprise, it has. We are acquaintances in this existence, our paths have intersected briefly, and with surprising tangents.

In too deep

And a fallen angel sat there chewing her halo, which by this time had slipped right down to permanently cover her eyes when it was worn. And she watched the other and marvelled. But, understandably, the other had not noticed that she was. Until the day that she finally could take it no more and she tugged at his hem and said “Notice me.” Which was wrong, for it was not her place to be noticed, which she knew immediately and so she hid, now afraid.

But it was too late, he had turned and said, puzzled “I think I have heard that voice before. Who are you?”

So now she chews her halo and wonders how to keep out of the way and not get noticed again.

Standing the heat

I read once an interesting essay that went to prove that heaven is predicted to be hotter than hell. Something about the temperature of boiling brimestone compared with the expected heat given from seven times seven the output of our current sun, or something like that. Bright place to be if that was the case. I suppose then it would have to be a case of what you are allowed to adapt to. Any situation is bearable if you become acclimatised to it. The trouble arises if you are in a situation that you are not allowed to adjust to. Either by choice or circumstance.

Long way to fall

There are many answers to the question as to what it is that lies between heaven and hell. Physically, one can answer that it is the planet we exist on, Earth. Another is that the answer is limbo, that state between the ultimate high and the ultimate low. But all are populated by Angels. Those that keep the pure high ground and those that have descended as low as they can go. In between we have those who are on their way down. Or are they on their way back up?
